Carlo Alberto Ferrero di Cavallerleone (born December 29, 1903 in Turin , Italy , † July 16, 1969 ) was an Italian clergyman and Roman Catholic military archbishop of Italy .

Life

Carlo Alberto Ferrero di Cavallerleone received on 22 December 1928, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On October 28, 1944, Pope Pius XII appointed him . the Titular Archbishop of Trapezus and Military Archbishop of Italy. The secretary of the Consistorial Congregation , Raffaele Carlo Cardinal Rossi OCD , donated him episcopal ordination on November 30th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Assessor of the Congregation for the Oriental Churches , Archbishop Curia Antonino Arata , and the Vice-Dean for the Diocese of Rome , Archbishop Luigi Traglia .

Ferrero di Cavallerleone resigned as military archbishop of Italy on November 4, 1953. He participated in all four sessions of the Second Vatican Council .
