Roberto Perdomo Paredes

Roberto Perdomo Paredes (born August 29, 1926 in Trinidad , † March 7, 2007 in Tegucigalpa ) was a Honduran diplomat and politician .

biography

Perdomo Paredes was initially from 1961 to 1962 a delegate to the Honduran- Nicaraguan Commission, which defined the border between the two states. He was then appointed Foreign Minister in 1962 by President José Ramón Villeda Morales in his government. As part of a government reshuffle, he became Minister of the Interior and Minister of Justice for some time in 1963 . Later was an ambassador to the Organization of American States (OAS) in Washington, DC

In 1976, President Juan Alberto Melgar Castro briefly reappointed him as Foreign Minister in the government. In 1981 he was appointed ambassador to Nicaragua and then in 1983 as ambassador to Colombia .

Most recently Perdomo Paredes was Vice President of the Supreme Court from 1989 to 1999 .
