Sukyun Yang Ju & Insook (* 1966 in Seoul ) are from South Korea originating artist couple .

Life

After studying at the Art Academy in Münster, they stayed in Germany , where they became known for their multimedia projects, photo experiments and numerous exhibitions. In 2009/2010 they received a guest professorship at the Kassel Art Academy. In the tradition of Nam June Paik, the two artists provide innovations in the field of video and computer art.

From 1985 to 1991 they studied painting at Hongik University . in Seoul. From 1991 to 1999 they continued their studies at the Art Academy in Münster .

Sukyun Yang & Insook Ju live and work in Düsseldorf.
