Roberto Ronca

Roberto Ronca (born February 23, 1901 in Rome , Italy , † September 25, 1977 ) was the prelate of Pompei .

Life

Roberto Ronca received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Rome on April 7, 1928 . Until 1932 Ronca was rector of the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome.

On June 21, 1948, Pope Pius XII appointed him . the titular archbishop of Naupactus and ordered him as prelate of Pompei. The Prefect of the Congregation for Seminary and Universities , Cardinal Giuseppe Pizzardo , ordained him as a bishop on July 11th of the same year ; Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishop in Rome, Luigi Traglia , and the auxiliary bishop in Pompei, Vincenzo Celli .

On December 20, 1955, Roberto Ronca resigned as Prelate of Pompei.

Roberto Ronca attended all four sessions of the Second Vatican Council .
