Roberto Salomone
Roberto Marcelo Salomono Martínez (born January 16, 1944 in Argentina ) is a former Argentine football player on the position of a striker .
career
Salomono began his professional career at Club Atlético Atlanta , where he was under contract from 1964 to 1967. He then moved to the Racing Club ; one of the most popular clubs in the country, with which he was under contract from 1968 to 1970. After a stopover at Ferro Carril Oeste , Salomono moved to Mexico in 1971 for Club León , with whom he won the Mexican Cup and Supercup in the 1971/72 season and was runner-up in the Mexican league in the 1972/73 and 1974/75 seasons .
In 1977 Salomono returned to his homeland and played for a few months at CA San Martín de Tucumán before ending his active career in 1978 with his former club Atlanta.
