Roberto Trashorras Gayoso (born February 28, 1981 in Rábade , Lugo province ) is a former Spanish football player . Most recently he played for the Spanish football club Rayo Vallecano .
Career
Trashorras began his career in the youth of Racing Club Vilalbés , but moved to the youth department of bigger city rivals FC Barcelona in 1995 . In the second team there , he was part of the permanent staff, but could not prevail in the first team. There he only came to a three-minute short assignment in the league game against Deportivo La Coruña and in another substitution in the Champions League qualification against Wisła Krakow . In 2003 he switched to the second team at Real Madrid , where he could not recommend himself for the first team. After another, rather unsuccessful move to Numancia, where he only played twelve games this season, Trashorras moved to UD Las Palmas , where he was able to establish himself in professional football. In 2008 he moved to Celta Vigo , where he made a significant contribution to reaching the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey with consistently good performances .
2011 Trashorras agreed with Celta Vigo over the termination of his originally dated for five seasons contract and joined the fresh in the Primera División ascended Rayo Vallecano on. There he developed into an absolute regular player and played more than 120 league games in central midfield. In 2016 Trashorras relegated to the second Spanish division with Rayo Vallecano. In 2018 he ended his active professional career.
