Rock Creek is a settlement ( unincorporated place ) in Boundary Country in British Columbia in Canada at the confluence of the Rock Creek with the Kettle River . The settlement belongs to the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary .

history

The place was created in 1860 by the Rock Creek gold rush .

Demographics

The census in 2011 showed a population of 86 inhabitants for the settlement. The population of the settlement decreased by 75.2% compared to the 2006 census, while the population in the entire province of British Columbia increased by 7.0% at the same time. At the 2006 census, there were still 347 residents living in the settlement.
