Roderich Anschütz

Roderich Anschütz ( July 24, 1818 in Breslau - May 26, 1888 in Mödling ) was an Austrian playwright, lawyer and civil servant.

Life

Anschütz, the son of the actor Heinrich Anschütz and Emilie Butenop , initially appeared in children's roles at the Burgtheater, but did not devote himself to the stage professionally, but entered the civil service as a lawyer in 1852 after completing his studies in philosophy and law , later dissolved and then rebuilt Ministry of Commerce and Public Works. He died as an Austrian section councilor .

He was also active as a writer. Several of his dramas and a comedy were performed. He also gave the actor Conrad L'Allemand dramatic lessons.

His sister was the actress Marie Emilie Auguste Koberwein (who was married to the painter Georg Koberwein ), his half-brother was the opera singer Alexander Anschütz (1815–1868).

Anschütz died in Mödling. He was buried on May 29, 1888 at the Matzleinsdorf Evangelical Cemetery .
