The Rodger River is around 60 kilometers long in the eastern Gippsland in the Australian state of Victoria .

It rises on the southern slope of Monkey Top in the east of the Snowy River National Park . From there, the Rodger River flows west through completely unpopulated area to about five kilometers east of the Snowy River . There the river turns south - parallel to the Snowy River - to the mouth of the Yalmy River , its largest tributary. From here it meanders west and flows into the Snowy River after a few kilometers at the Jackson Crossing settlement .
