Rodrigo Canosa , full name Rodrigo Canosa Martínez , (born September 18, 1988 in San Jacinto ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.88 meter tall defensive player Canosa was part of the squad of the second division El Tanque Sisley at the beginning of his career in the 2008/09 season . In the 2009/10 and 2011/12 seasons he was under contract with the Uruguayan first division club Sportivo Cerrito , where he played 17 (no goal) and 15 (two goals) first division games. In January 2012 he moved to Cerrito's league rivals Rampla Juniors . In the remainder of the 2011/12 season he came to the club, which is also based in Montevideo, to 14 appearances in the Primera División . He scored a goal. In July 2012 he was loaned to Olimpo de Bahía Blanca . He stayed at the Argentine club until January 2013. After his return to the Rampla Juniors, he was set up 13 times in the 2013/14 season with the team now playing in the Segunda División and hit the opposing goal once. In February 2014 he joined the Club Atlético Villa Teresa, also playing in the Segunda División . By the end of the season, he ran in 16 league games (one goal) with his new employer. At Apertura 2014 he moved to the Uruguayan first division club Atlético Cerro . In the 2014/15 season he was used 27 times (one goal) in the top Uruguayan league. At the end of June 2015, the Colombian club América de Cali announced its commitment. There he was used in 15 league games in Primera B and scored one goal. At the beginning of 2016 he joined the Dolphin SC from Ecuador and denied seven league games (one goal) in the Serie A . He returned to Cerro in late July 2016. 13 first division appearances (no goal) in the middle season 2016 followed in the season 2017 16 completed first division appearances (two goals) and two appearances (no goal) in the Copa Libertadores 2017 . Curicó Unido signed him at the beginning of July 2017 . So far (as of July 22, 2017) he has played for the Chileans twice (no goal) in the Copa Chile .
