Rodrigo Lemos , full name Rodrigo Javier Lemos Rosende , (born March 10, 1973 or October 3, 1973 in Montevideo ) is a former Uruguayan football player .

Career

society

The 1.78 meter tall midfielder "La Momia" called Lemos was from 1993 to the Apertura 1998 in the squad of the Uruguayan first division club Nacional Montevideo . There he played at least 34 games (nine goals) in the Primera División . In 1998 a career station followed in China with Tianjin Teda . After his return to Uruguay he was active from 1999 to 2001 for the Club Atlético Bella Vista . During this period, 90 games and 32 goals are played for him. He then moved to Mexico for UNAM Pumas and played there in 42 league games in 2002 and 2003. He scored ten hits. At Pumas, his salary was $ 25,500 a month. In June 2003 he was loaned to CF Atlas in a draft by Pumas . However, this change ultimately did not materialize after Atlas terminated the agreement. The Comisión de Resolución de Controverisas of the Mexican Football Association FMF had ordered Atlas in an arbitration award to pay $ 11,000 a month to Blanco. The club initially refused.

In the Clausura 2004 he was under contract with Delfines de Coatzacoalcos . He then completed 15 encounters (two goals) in the Apertura 2004 for their league rivals Lagartos Tabasco . The year 2005 he spent in ranks of Audax Italiano in Chile . There are eleven goals in 35 appearances for him. Other sources only have 33 missions. Finally, his career path took him back to his Uruguayan homeland, where he played in the Clausura 2006 and the 2006/07 season for Liverpool Montevideo in a total of 27 league games and scored seven times in the opposing goal. Other sources only have 26 missions. In 2007 he was under contract with Rentistas . There he was set up 13 times and scored a goal. In 2008/09 he was shown a job at Peñarol Flores. In 2009 he played for Liverpool de Canelones. In 2010 he signed a contract with Juventud . In the 2010/11 season he was on the pitch for the club from Las Piedras 17 times and scored four times.

National team

Lemos was part of the Uruguayan U-20 team that competed in the 1992 U-20 South American Championship in Colombia . Uruguay finished the tournament as vice South American champion. During the tournament he was used by coach Ángel Castelnoble six times (no goal). The following year he joined the team, which was again trained by Castelnoble, also at the Junior World Championship in 1993 and reached the quarter-finals. There you had to admit defeat to the host Australia. He was used four times during the tournament. He did not succeed in scoring. Lemos made his debut in the senior national team on July 17, 1996 . Lemos was part of the 2001 Copa America squad. Up to his last game for Celeste on July 29, 2001, he completed a total of eight international matches and scored one international goal.
