Roger Lille

Roger Lille (born August 17, 1956 in Zofingen ; † June 10, 2014 ) was a Swiss writer and theater pedagogue .

Life

After training as a secondary school teacher, Roger Lille worked for several years in Lenzburg / Canton Aargau in the school service. He then completed an apprenticeship as a theater pedagogue at the Drama Academy in Zurich . From 1986 he worked as a freelance director ; from 1989 he was head of the school theater advice center of the canton of Aargau . In 1992 he took part in the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt . Lille last lived in Aarau , together with his wife Alice Dora Lille.

Roger Lille was a writer of narrative works and plays . He was a member of the Association of Authors of Switzerland and the Swiss Association of Theater for Children and Young People . Among other things, he received the Swiss Schiller Foundation Prize in 1995 and a grant from the Pro Helvetia Foundation in 1997 .
