The Rojas Cove ( Spanish Ensenada Rojas ) is a side bay of Discovery Bay on Greenwich Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located between Bascopé Point and the Guesalaga Peninsula .
Scientists of the 1st Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1946–1947) named it. It is named after Gabriel Rojas Parker, captain of the Angamos on this research trip . The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee translated the name into English in 2004.
