Rokas Žilinskas
Rokas Žilinskas (born July 20, 1972 in Vilnius , Lithuanian SSR ; † June 6, 2017 in Vilnius, Lithuania ) was a Lithuanian journalist , moderator and politician , member of the Seimas .
Life
Rokas Žilinskas was interested in geography at school , later political science and politics , together with his teacher he founded the first Soviet club of young international lecturers and was its first president, he gave lectures to students in his and other schools in Vilnius. He studied journalism at the Vilniaus universitetas and then spent a semester at the mass communication institute in Delhi ( India ). During his studies and afterwards he worked at Lietuvos radijas ir televizija and the LNK news service . He was the presenter of the program "Žinios" on LNK. From 2008 to 2012 he was a member of the Seimas .
