Roland-Friedrich Messner

Roland-Friedrich Messner (born March 4, 1925 in Munich ; † May 4, 2010 there ) was a German politician ( CSU ).

Messner attended elementary and advanced school and participated as a war volunteer in World War II , in which he was wounded four times. He was a prisoner of war until 1947 and then initially worked as a commercial clerk, studied political science in Munich , Berlin and Mainz and was a voluntary representative and carer for war invalids, widows, orphans and pensioners. He then worked as a personnel clerk at Siemens and at the end of 1957 was appointed head of studies at the Evangelical Academy in Tutzing . He was also an administrative judge at the Bavarian Administrative Court .

On October 1, 1958, Messner became a member of the CSU, where he was deputy chairman of the CSU district association in Munich from February 1969. From 1966 to 1974 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament . He was also the founding chairman of the Association of Friends of the Bavarian State Theater .
