Roland Agustoni

Roland Agustoni (born April 6, 1955 ) is a Swiss politician ( glp ).

biography

Agustoni comes from Morbio Inferiore in the canton of Ticino . He is a trained bricklayer foreman and then worked as a foreman in the handling of goods at a chemical company.

Agustoni has been a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Aargau since April 29, 1997 , initially for the Social Democratic Party of Switzerland (SP). From the beginning until 2005 he was a member of the building and planning commission, since then the commission UBV (environmental, building, traffic, energy and spatial planning). He was a member of several non-permanent commissions and in the 2003/04 term of office he was a member of the Bureau of the Grand Council. He is currently the cantonal delegate of the Upper Rhine Council , where he is a member of the Regional Planning and Transport Commission, as well as a member of the District Council in the Trinational Eurodistrict Basel (TEB). Agustoni was re-elected in the Aargau Grand Council elections in October 2012.

In the SP, Agustoni was a member of the parliamentary group's expert committee on environment / transport / energy / spatial planning. In 2007 he ran unsuccessfully in the elections to the National Council . Until December 31, 2008 he was co-president of SP Magden , and from 2002 to 2003 a member of the management of SP Aargau. In spring 2010 he announced his resignation from the SP, joined the Green Liberal Party, founded a Rheinfeld district party of the glp in the summer and was elected its president.

In addition, Agustoni is a member of the board of trustees of the Rheinfelden Rehabilitation Clinic, was a member of the Magden school administration from 1985 to 1997 and was a long-time member of the Reformed Community Association Magden / Olsberg. Agustoni is married, has three grown children and first lived in Magden, now in Rheinfelden.
