Roland Hoffmann (translator)

Roland Hoffmann (* 1962 ) is a German translator , interpreter and publisher .

Life

Roland Hoffmann completed a degree in Scandinavian and German studies , which he finished in 1990. He then worked for a publishing house for technical literature, and from 1992 he worked as a press and cultural advisor at the Danish Consulate General in Munich . Since 1997 he has been working as a freelance translator and interpreter . a. for the Munich Regional Court ; he also runs the "Litteraturverlag Hoffmann". Roland Hoffmann translates fiction and non-fiction from Danish , Norwegian and Swedish into German . He is a member of the Association of German-Language Translators of Literary and Scientific Works and lives in Munich.
