Aldea del Obispo is a small municipality ( municipio ) in central Spain in the province of Salamanca in the autonomous community of Castile and León . Like many municipalities in the region, it has experienced a sharp decline in population since the second half of the 20th century. After 920 inhabitants lived in it in 1950, it had only 243 inhabitants in 2019.
