Abusejo is a northern Spanish municipality ( municipio ) in the province of Salamanca in the autonomous community of Castile and Leon . The community experienced a sharp decline in population in the 20th century.

Abusejo is located on a plateau a few kilometers north of the Sierra de France between the municipalities of Cabrillas (4 km northwest), Sepulcro-Hilario (3 miles east) and Tamames (7 km south).
