Alba de Tormes is a Spanish municipality in the province of Salamanca and the region of Castile and León . Alba de Tormes is the place of origin of the House of Álvarez de Toledo . The tomb of Teresa of Ávila is also located here .

Neighboring communities are: Garcihernández in the north, Aldeaseca de Alba in the east, Navales in the south-east, Encinas de Arriba in the south, Martinamor in the south-west and Terradillos in the west .
