Arapiles is a centrally Spanish municipality ( municipio ) in the province of Salamanca in the autonomous community of Castile and Leon . Unlike most of the municipalities in the region, it has not seen any significant population decline since the second half of the 20th century. While 548 inhabitants lived in it in 1950, it still had 660 inhabitants in 2019.
