La Bastida (Salamanca) is a very small municipality ( municipio ) in western Spain in the province of Salamanca in the autonomous community of Castile and León . Like many municipalities in the region, it has experienced a significant population decline since the second half of the 20th century. After 161 inhabitants lived in it in 1950, it had only 28 inhabitants in 2019.
