Barbalos is a small western Spanish municipality ( municipio ) in the province of Salamanca in the autonomous community of Castile and Leon . Like many municipalities in the region, it has experienced a significant population decline since the second half of the 20th century. After 367 inhabitants lived in it in 1950, it still had 73 inhabitants in 2019.
