Cabezabellosa de la Calzada is a small western Spanish municipality ( municipio ) in the province of Salamanca in the autonomous community of Castile and Leon . It is located about 16 kilometers northeast of the provincial capital Salamanca . In 2019 it had 77 inhabitants.

The area of the municipality is 8.49 km² and, besides the main town, only includes very sparsely cultivated arable land.
A country road connects Cabezabellosa de la Calzada via Gomecello with the parallel roads N-620 and A-62 .
Population development
The population of the village increased by 1950, but Cabezabellosa de la Calzada, like most municipalities in the region, experienced a sharp decline in population in the second half of the 20th century. In 2019 only 77 people lived there.
