Alconada is a small central Spanish municipality ( municipio ) in the province of Salamanca in the autonomous community of Castile and Leon . Like many municipalities in the region, it has experienced a sharp decline in population since the second half of the 20th century. After 437 inhabitants lived in it in 1950, it had only 149 inhabitants in 2019.
