Aldeanueva de la Sierra is a small municipality ( municipio ) in western Spain in the province of Salamanca in the autonomous community of Castile and León . Like many municipalities in the region, it has seen its population decline since the second half of the 20th century. After 354 inhabitants lived in it in 1950, it had 115 inhabitants in 2019.
