Roland Lang (writer)
Roland Lang (born April 2, 1942 in Gablonz , Neisse ) is a German writer .
Life
Roland Lang grew up in the Thuringian Forest . After moving to the Federal Republic of Germany and attending primary school , he completed an apprenticeship as a graphic artist from 1957 to 1960 ; then he spent two years studying commercial art and Graphic Arts at the Karlsruhe Art Academy . From 1962 he worked as a poster painter and offset printer . After starting writing in the late 1950s and working on the editorial team of a student magazine from 1971 to 1973 , he has been a freelance writer since 1974. Lang lives in Ettlingen today .
He is the author of novels , short stories , essays and radio plays , as well as a number of scripts for the television series Die Fallers - Eine Schwarzwaldfamilie .
Roland Lang is a member of the Association of German Writers .
