Roland Wilson

Roland Wilson (* 1951 ) is a British tinkerist , conductor and instrument maker .

Life

Roland Wilson studied trumpet at the Royal College of Music in London and later at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague . In 1976 he founded the Ensemble Musica Fiata and in 1992 La Capella Ducale . Furthermore, Wilson is scientifically active in the field of historically informed performance practice and builds reconstructions of historical prongs.
