The type 2 of the Rolandwerft in Bremen is a river-sea ship type .

history

On July 1, 1972, Detlef Hegemann took over the bankrupt Rolandwerft in Bremen- Hemelingen . Shipbuilding was not resumed until 1977 with the Rolandwerft Type 0 . Based on the type 0, the shipyard developed types 1 , 2 and 3 . The type 2 was a direct further development of the type 0, which had a higher load capacity and a larger cargo space with slightly different dimensions but the same dimensions . The river-seagoing ship type is primarily designed for operation in small voyages to the outer areas of various European rivers. The dimensions, such as the height of the superstructures and the back, are tailored to the special features of this insert. The type ship delivered in September 1980 was the Anda .

technology

The drive of the series consists of a Deutz four-stroke diesel engine throttled to 599 hp , which acts on a controllable pitch propeller via a reduction gear .
