Dieter Groest

Rolf-Dieter Groest (born February 19, 1932 in Rathenow ) is a German actor .

Live and act

The artist, who comes from the Mark Brandenburg region, studied chemistry for seven semesters and also took acting classes in Berlin. From the second half of the 1950s he went to theaters in Dinkelsbühl, Ingolstadt, Kassel, Stuttgart, Berlin and Düsseldorf. Groest also worked as a voice actor.

He first appeared in front of the camera at the age of 30 and has since worked in a plethora of television and cinema productions over the next 35 years, including some cheaply made soft sex films in the early 1970s. Groest is best remembered with his Nazi functionary Neumann in the oppressive reconstruction of the Wannsee Conference of January 1942. Groest lives in Munich.
