Rolf Bohnsack
Rolf Bohnsack (born March 3, 1937 in Husum ; † August 8, 2009 in Hamburg ) was a German folk actor .
Life
In Husum, he first trained as a shipbuilder at the shipyard . Since the age of 16, he has also appeared on the side at the Low German Stage Husum. After a job-related move to a Hamburg shipyard, the then director of the Ohnsorg Theater, Hans Mahler, became aware of him and hired him for the 1961/62 season. He remained associated with the Ohnsorg Theater for over 45 years , including 34 years as a permanent actor. According to an obituary by the theater, he played a total of 123 roles. Bohnsack was also seen in a whole series of television recordings from the NDR from the theater. His early appearances here include the comedy The Queen of Honolulu (1966) by Gorch Fock with Otto Lüthje , Erna Raupach-Petersen and Werner Riepel .
After a long break in which he ran a restaurant with his partner in Lutzhorn , he returned to the Ohnsorg Theater. He last played in the 2007/2008 season in the play Mien Mann de fohrt to See .
