Rolf Dobischat

Rolf Dobischat (born June 26, 1950 in Bad Wildungen ) was a vocational training researcher at the University of Duisburg-Essen from 1991 to 2017 . From 2006 to 2011 he was President of the German Student Union (DSW) in Berlin.

Life

Dobischat started his scientific career through the second education path. After training as an industrial clerk from 1964 to 1967, he acquired a university entrance qualification in parallel to his professional activity. From 1971 to 1977 he studied economics, business education and social sciences at the Universities of Kassel and Göttingen. After completing his studies, he held several positions as a scientific employee, for example at the University of Kassel , the Distance University of Hagen and the University of Karlsruhe . In 1983 Dobischat doctorate and in 1991 he was for the discipline vocational education / training at the University of Karlsruhe habilitation . In the same year he was appointed to a professorship for business education with a focus on “professional and operational training and further education” at the University of Duisburg. Dobischat is married and has one daughter.
