Rolf Gumlich

Rolf Gumlich (* 1932 ) is a German journalist and screenwriter who is best known today for his doctor series.

Life

From 1954 to 1989 Gumlich was a permanent writer at the radio of the GDR , where he shaped the image of the Federal Republic in numerous programs. In 1976 he wrote the feature together with Karl-Heinz Tesch. At 17 you still have dreams . In beaten time when Stone told Gumlich 1981 Berlin radio about "housing shortage, deforestation remediation and police terror" in the Federal Republic. In the same year, Jockei Monika was his first own television series.

In 1987 Gumlich wrote the screenplay for the series Kiezgeschichten , which was realized for television under the direction of Jens-Peter Proll . In an interview with the Berliner Zeitung , the author said: “The stories mainly deal with the residents. The construction worker Matti ( Peter Reusse ) is one of the main characters who goes through all seven parts. He finally finds the right partner, she is played by Jenny Gröllmann ”.

After the fall of the Berlin Wall, Rolf Gumlich switched completely to television. He specializes in medical series such as Stefanie For All Cases (Sat.1).
