Rolf Lüdecke

Rolf Lüdecke (born May 10, 1924 in Frankenhausen ; † September 14, 1973 near Gotha ) was a German politician ( SED ) as well as party and agricultural functionary.

Life

Lüdecke, the son of a car mechanic and a housewife , attended elementary school between 1931 and 1938 and a secondary school in 1938/39 . From 1939 to 1942 he was a young helper on the Reichsbahn. On September 1, 1942, he became a member of the NSDAP . From 1942 to 1945 he was drafted for military service in the Wehrmacht . He fell in April 1945 as a corporal in American captivity , from which he was released in June 1946th

From 1946 to 1950 he worked as a deputy registration controller at the Sondershausen District Council . In 1946 he joined the Socialist Unity Party of Germany (SED). In 1951/52 he was the second secretary of the Sondershausen district board of the Association of Mutual Farmers Aid , then from 1952 to 1955 Secretary for Agriculture of the Sondershausen district leadership and from 1955 sector leader in the SED district leadership in Erfurt .

From 1955 to 1958 he studied at the party college "Karl Marx" at the Central Committee of the SED . He completed his studies with a degree in social science, later he also received a degree as a degree in agricultural engineering and economics. From 1958 to 1960 he acted as second secretary of the SED district leadership in Sondershausen, and from 1960 to 1963 as first secretary of the SED district leadership in Weimar-Land . From February 1963 to September 1973 he was secretary or head of the SED's agriculture office in Erfurt. Lüdecke was also a member of the Erfurt District Assembly for a time .

Lüdecke had an accident together with Oswald Schüller , Production Manager for Agriculture and Food Industry at the Council of the Erfurt District, and Georg Ewald , candidate for the Politburo of the SED Central Committee, member of the Presidium of the GDR Council of Ministers and Minister for Agriculture, Forestry and Food Management at one Fatal traffic accident near Gotha. Lüdecke and Schüller were buried in the Erfurt south cemetery.
