Rolf Möller (born August 29, 1930 in Bremervörde ) is a German lawyer and administrative officer .

After graduating from high school at Johanneum Lüneburg, the son of a construction official studied law and political science at the universities of Freiburg im Breisgau , Munich , Columbus (Ohio) and Bonn from 1950 to 1957 . In 1955/56 he was the second chairman of the Association of German Student Associations (VDS) involved in the negotiations on the Honnef model , a forerunner of today's student loan funding.

After completing his studies, Möller moved to the German Student Union (DSW) as managing director , passed the second state examination in law in 1962 and worked from 1968 to 1975 as a division manager at the German Research Foundation (DFG). From 1975 to 1979 Möller was President of the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel and from 1979 to 1982 he was State Secretary of the Lower Saxony Ministry of Science and Art . In 1983 he was elected Secretary General of the Volkswagen Foundation in Hanover in the eighth ballot . He held this position from 1983 to 1995. From 1990 to 1998 he was a member of the board of trustees of the Hanns Lilje Foundation and the Center for Interdisciplinary Research at Bielefeld University .
