Rolf Momburg

Rolf Momburg (born December 9, 1928 in Wesel ; † October 26, 2001 in Minden ) was a German administrative lawyer .

From 1948 to 1953 he studied law and political science at the universities of Münster , Madrid and Bonn .

Momburg received his doctorate on November 14, 1958 at the law and political science faculty of the University of Münster .

From October 1, 1967 until its dissolution on December 31, 1972, he was senior district director of the Lübbecke district . In 1973 he was first district director and from 1974 to 1993 senior district director of the newly formed Minden-Lübbecke district .

He was a co-founder of the German Society for Milling Customers and Mill Maintenance , founded in 1987 . He was its chairman for twelve years, and since 1999 honorary chairman.

After his retirement in 1993, he wrote three books on the history of handicrafts and trades in the Minden-Lübbecke area.
