Rolf Sakulowski

Rolf Sakulowski (* 1968 in Weida ) is a German film director , screenwriter and writer .

Life

After graduating from high school, Rolf Sakulowski worked as a camera assistant in the DEFA studio for documentary films in Potsdam-Babelsberg from 1987 to 1990 . From 1990 to 1994 he studied at the University of Film and Television "Konrad Wolf" Potsdam-Babelsberg and graduated with a diploma in camera. He has been working as a director and author since 1995, carrying out long-term project-related research on police intervention and ethics in crisis situations and holding film seminars at the Konrad Wolf University of Film and Television in Potsdam-Babelsberg and Magdeburg-Stendal University . Since 2014 he has also been working as a writer and has published several detective novels with Thuringian local flavor .

Rolf Sakulowski lives with his family in Potsdam-Babelsberg. He is the son of Horst Sakulowski .
