Rolf Vogelsang
Rolf Vogelsang (born July 25, 1945 in Bremen ) is a Bremen politician ( SPD ) and was a member of the Bremen citizenship .

education and profession
Vogelsang was a Bremen civil servant from 1962 to 1974 and in between 1966 to 1968 did his military service. He obtained his higher education entrance qualification in 1972 and studied from 1974 to 1980 to become a teacher in English and sport. From 1982 to 2010 he worked as a teacher at various schools.
He is married and has two children.
politics
Vogelsang has been a member of the SPD since 1963. From 2008 to 2009 he was second chairman and since 2010 he has been chairman of the local SPD association Oslebshausen .
From 1999 to 2011 he was a member of the advisory board of the Bremen-Gröpelingen district and from 1999 to 2003 parliamentary group spokesman for the SPD.
In the 18th electoral term he is a member of the Bremen citizenship from 2011 to 2015 (replacement for a member of the Senate). He was represented in the committee for civic participation, civic engagement and advisory boards (city), works committee KiTa Bremen, works committee music school Bremen, works committee city library Bremen and Bremen adult education center , works committee “Umweltbetrieb Bremen” and in the petitions committee (state and city) as well as in the municipal deputation for Education.
Further memberships
Vogelsang has been an active member of the local SVGO sports club and the ÖTV and GEW unions for over 45 years . He is in the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB) and in various school associations.
