Rolf Zerfass

Rolf Zerfaß (born April 27, 1934 in Simmern / Hunsrück ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian .

Life

Rolf Zerfaß studied theology in Innsbruck , Trier and Munich . After completing his doctorate in Innsbruck, he lectured on pastoral theology and homiletics at the Trier Theological Faculty .

From 1972 until his retirement in 1999 he was professor of pastoral theology and homiletics at the University of Würzburg .

For lifetime achievement in 2007 was Rolf Zerfaß the sermon Price of publishing for the German economy (Bonn).

One of his students is Ottmar Fuchs , whose dissertation and habilitation he supervised. He also supervised Paul Zulehner's habilitation .
