Romain Fandel (born June 25, 1922 in Esch-sur-Alzette , Luxembourg ; † October 22, 1985 ) was a Luxembourg politician of the Lëtzebuerger Sozialistesch Aarbechterpartei (LSAP).

Life

The son of a police superintendent was called up for military service after graduating from the Lycée during the Second World War in 1942 and after a stay in a hospital due to injuries did his military service until the liberation of Luxembourg . He then worked as a civil servant in his hometown.

After the end of the Second World War he was first general secretary of the Unio'n vun de Fräiheetsorganisatiounen , the Luxembourg association of resistance movements .
