Roman Linke (born January 19, 1967 in Rosenheim ) is a German choreographer and director .

After taking ballet lessons from his parents, he received a scholarship from the Heinz Bosl Foundation in Munich . He graduated from the Munich University of Music with a major in ballet. His teachers included professors M. de Lutry, Konstanze Vernon and H. Manniegel in ballet, as well as Dick O. Swanborn, Max Stone and Gus Giordano in jazz dance and Samy Molcho in pantomime .

He started his first engagement in Lucerne , where he performed his first solo role, his mother Simone in the ballet La Fille mal gardée in the choreography by Riccardo Duse. Further stations in his career were Bern and the Bavarian State Ballet in Munich . Linke was seen in numerous solo roles at the Bavarian State Ballet in Munich from 1990/91 to 1992/93. There he designed roles in the character field such as Camacho in the ballet Don Quijote , as well as the baker in the ballet Max and Moritz or the general in John Neumeier's Nutcracker . For Leander Haussmann's Romeo and Juliet - staging in the Residenz Theater in Munich in 1992 choreographed left the fight scenes. Tours have taken him to Italy , Hungary , Korea and the USA, among others .

In 1993 Roman Linke took over the management of his parents' ballet school Bartosch-Linke.

Here he is often active as a choreographer and director, including at the Chiemgau Opera Summer , at the Rosenheim Music School and at the Ice Company Bad Aibling . Roman Linke was a speaker at the Upper Bavarian School Theater Days . The book, direction and choreography of the “Künstlerhof Gala” were designed by him. In 1997, as part of the Upper Bavarian Culture Days, the children's ballet Story of Cats, Mice and ... , for which Linke designed the choreography.

Roman Linke showed his social commitment as the leader of the large project "HPSM - Heroes for Power and Moves" in cooperation with the "Soziale Stadt", Hauptschule Mitte and the music school Rosenheim.
