Romana Ganzoni (born April 18, 1967 in Scuol ; resident in St. Antönien and Celerina ) is a Swiss writer .

Life

Romana Ganzoni is a multilingual author from the Canton of Graubünden who was born as the daughter of Roman and Luisa Flütsch, née Lang. Two Graubünden dialects were spoken at home. Ganzoni owes literacy in the Rhaeto-Romanic idiom « vallader » to her first teacher, Chasper Sarott. She learned standard German as a foreign language from the fifth grade. The Rhaeto-Romanic idiom " puter " was added later .

After primary school in Scuol and high school at the High Alpine Institute in Ftan , Ganzoni studied general history and German at the University of Zurich . Afterwards she taught, interrupted by a one-year stay in London, for 20 years at various high schools in Zurich and the Engadine. Literary publications began in 2013.

Romana Ganzoni is married to the lawyer Riet Ganzoni and they have three children together. She lives in Celerina and is a member of the A * dS authors' association .
