Romane Dieu (born December 19, 2000 in Albertville ) is a French ski jumper and Nordic combined athlete .

Career

Romane Dieu made her international debut at the Nordic Ski Games of the OPA in January 2015. After a few starts in the Alpine Cup, she was then able to win gold at the Nordic Ski Games of the OPA at the end of January 2016 both individually and in a team with Lucile Morat and Océane Paillard . As a representative of France, Dieu took part in the 2016 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer . As with the subsequent Junior World Championships in Râşnov , she remained without medals.

After further starts in the Alpine Cup and scoring points in the Continental Cup , Romane Dieu took part in a jumping in the World Cup for the first time on January 28, 2017 . A week later she reached the points in both competitions in Hinzenbach with a placement in the top 30. At the Junior World Championships 2018 in Kandersteg , Switzerland , she won the bronze medal with the French team.
