Romas Švedas

Romas Švedas (born June 14, 1970 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian lawyer, former diplomat and politician, Deputy Minister of Energy in Lithuania .

Life

From 1988 to 1993 Romas Švedas graduated from the Law Faculty of Vilnius University with a degree in law . From 1992 to 1993 he was senior specialist at the Ministry of International Economic Relations, from 1996 to 1997 acting consul in the Lithuanian consulate in Geneva , from 1997 to 1999 consul in Lithuania, from 1999 to 2003 director of the economic department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania , from 2009 to 2011 deputy energy minister of Lithuania and from September 4, 2009 Chairman of the Supervisory Board of " Leo LT ". Since 2011 he has been teaching at the Institute for International Relations and Politics at Vilnius University. In 2014, he headed Dalia Grybauskaitė's electoral staff in the Lithuanian presidential election .

Romas Švedas is married. Ms. Giedrė is an economist, secretary of the Ministry of Interior of Lithuania .
