Romeo N'tia (born February 25, 1995 ) is a Beninese long jumper who occasionally competes in the triple jump.

Athletic career

International experience gained Romeo N'tia 2012 at the African Championships in Porto-Novo , where he m with a width of 14.93 in the triple jump came in twelfth place, as well at the Games of La Francophonie the following year in Nice , where he scored 6.69 m in the long jump. In 2014 he was eliminated from the qualification at the African Championships in Marrakech with 6.86 m and the following year he took part in the Africa Games in Brazzaville for the first time, where he won the bronze medal for the two Senegalese Ndiss Kaba Badji and Mamadou Gueye with 7.44 m won. In 2016 he reached seventh place at the African Championships in Durban with 7.45 m and in 2017 he improved the national record in the long jump to 7.59 m at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku , finishing four. He was then at the games of the Francophonie in Abidjan with 6.91 m twelfth. In 2018 he finished sixth at the African Championships in Asaba with 7.76 m and the following year he won the bronze medal again at the Africa Games in Rabat with 7.72 m, this time behind the Algerian Yasser Triki and Marouane Kacimi from Morocco .
