Ron Pavitt
Ron Pavitt (actually Ronald Cecil John Pavitt; born September 15, 1926 in Hammersmith , † February 1, 1988 in Watford ) was a British high jumper .
At the Olympic Games in London in 1948 , he was eliminated in qualification.
In 1950 he was starting for England at the British Empire Games in Auckland sixth and in 1952 at the Olympic Games in Helsinki fifth.
In 1951 and 1952 he was English champion. He set his personal best of 1.98 m on August 6, 1949 in London .
