Ron Wilson (pianist)

Ron Wilson (born May 17, 1948 , † September 21, 2009 ) was an American jazz musician ( piano , e-piano , also vocals ), who mostly worked in Europe.

Wilson worked in Belgium and the Netherlands from the 1970s a. a. in the collaborative Open Sky Unit around Jacques Pelzer (album of the same name was created in 1974), and own groups. With his own trio, consisting of Georg Linges (bass) and Peter Eisheuer (drums), he recorded the album Zone Bleue in 1980 . He also worked with the singer Bill Ramsey and the Doug Sides Ensemble from the mid-1980s . He can also be heard on the album The Chant (1995) by John Marshall .
