description

The Roosevelt was named after the American President Theodore Roosevelt and was supposed to be an "affordable" automobile. He was the first American car with rows - eight-cylinder engine that is less than 1,000 US dollars cost. The engine had a displacement of around 3300 cc and made 72 bhp (53 kW). The vehicles had a wheelbase of 2870 mm. There were four different bodies: a sedan ($ 995), a coupe ($ 995), a Victoria coupe ($ 1,065) and a collegiate coupe ($ 1905).

The successor, which has hardly changed, was equipped with a more powerful engine from 1931 and again offered as the Marmon Model 70.
