The pink hook lily ( Crinum bulbispermum ) is a species of hook lily ( Crinum ) in the amaryllis family (Amaryllidaceae).
features
The pink hook lily is a perennial bulb plant that reaches heights of 50 to 90 centimeters. The leaves are blue-green in color, runny, not thickened in the middle, not wavy, cartilaginous and serrated on the edge. They measure 60 to 90 × 5 to 11 centimeters. The onion is 7.5 to 13 centimeters in diameter. 6 to 12 of the fragrant flowers form an umbel. The flower stalks have a length of 4.5 to 9 centimeters. The perigone tube is 7.5 to 10 centimeters long, narrow, green and curved, the tips are funnel-shaped, colored white with pink stripes or red with dark red stripes and measure 7.5 to 13 × 2 to 4 centimeters.
Flowering time is from July to August.
The number of chromosomes is 2n = 22, less often 24.
Occurrence
The pink hook lily occurs in South Africa from the Cape Province to the Transvaal on river and stream banks and in wet depressions on sand and black clay.

The pink hook lily is rarely used as an ornamental plant. It has been in culture since 1752 at the latest.
