The Rosa Rock ( Spanish Islote Rosa ) is a small rock island in the Bransfield Strait off the coast of the Trinity Peninsula at the tip of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located 160 m west of Agurto Rock in the group of Duroch Islands .
Participants of the Second Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1947-1948) named them after Rosa González de Claro, daughter of the then Chilean President Gabriel González Videla . The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names translated this designation into English in 1964 in an adapted form.
